The Northern Star Charity General Knowledge Quiz was held Thursday 21st March at Tottington St. John’s Cricket Club. Raising £750 for Andy’s Man Club, the evening was a great success with 10 teams enjoying eight rounds of quizzing (plus a picture round) and a pie and pea supper.
Sarah Buckley, organiser of the event and Northern Star Practice Manager, said, “A big thank you to everyone who came. We’ve had some really lovely feedback and will no doubt be doing it again. The cause is such a worthy one, with clubs now opening across the Northwest.”
Andy’s Man Club sets up peer talking groups to help men come to terms with issues or problems that they have faced or are in the process of facing.
